You must contact us if you notice any damages to the car or are involved in an accident, in order for us to tell you which documents are necessary depending on the situation.

Situations not covered by insurance

In these cases, the renter's maximum liability is the full value of the vehicle:                                     

    - Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs;                                                       

    - Renter's failure to provide a complete official report from the Romanian police in the case of any damage or theft / lack of documents / incomplete documents for insurance purposes. Note that the Romanian Police does not issue a report for situations in which the vehicle was being driven outside the network of public roads;                                                                 

   - Failure to present the vehicle's keys and original documents in case of theft (e.g. leave the vehicle unsecured with the keys inside);                        

   - Damage caused to the engine or to any parts of the vehicle due to:                                                

           - Use of an improper kind of fuel                                              

           - Negligence or improper use of vehicles (e.g. damages to engine or parts of the engine caused by failure to stop the vehicle after breaking the oil tank or cooling radiators)

           - Insufficient fluids: periodic check of fluid levels is mandatory                                                    

           - Not presenting the vehicle for regular inspection when specified mileage is reached                                         

           - Hydraulic shock                                                             

- Damages occurred underneath and in the interior of the vehicles or to the tires or wheels, transmission, clutch which are not a direct result of an accident;

- Damages occurred to glazed surfaces (chips, scratches, cracks) if they did not occur as a result of an accident.

Toll for Fetești – Cernavodă Bridge

Sun Highway A2/E81

For the trip to Constanța, Cernavodă, Black Sea resorts or adjacent localities a tax is charged for crossing the Danube bridges. There is one toll gate at Fetești (km 144).

The toll can be paid in advance or after the crossing, until 24:00 of the day following the crossing.

You are responsible for all parking charges.

If the duration of your contract is longer than 30 days, you have the obligation to report the mileage every 30 days, by phone or by emailing your contact representative.

You have the obligation to contact us as soon as possible if there are any messages or warning lights on the car's dashboard.

Please note that you can't leave Romania and cross the border with your rented car without our written agreement.

Adblue and windshield wiper fluid are car supplies, therefore you must refill them when necessary.
